I'm a little envious that you have the new JoJo Moyes book, although I have her last book and haven't yet gotten to it. So, shame on me for turning green. I'll have to bump that last one up on the pile. I do love her books. I managed to read 5, after we returned from our spending a few days with son and DIL in Nashville. It's wonderful to just disappear into your little book world, isn't it?

Edgar, I'm not a speed reader at all. I'm just a consistent reader, "slow and steady" so to speak. I read every evening, as my husband prefers television and I refuse to watch it for the most part. During vacation, I grab every spare minute I can find to read as it is my great joy, and this two week break I've read seven books. That surprises even me! Anyway, glad you asked. There's no sense being book bloggers if we can't discuss books, reading habits, and other bookish things along the way.

Sounds wonderful. It has been a long 4-day week back at work after 2 weeks off for the holidays. Wonderful to spend time with family and friends. Didn't get near as much reading done as I wanted, but did see several movies and got to play a lot of XBox, so relaxation was had and had in abundance.

Sounds like an absolutely perfect vacation to me, and I like your son's sense of humor! As much as loved having little girls, I seem to enjoy my daughters' company more the older they get.
