Like Christopher Robin wrote on a note before his first day of school, I will be very bisy. My mother and I are leaving Chicago, Illinois for Toronto, Canada; we're off to Victoria University to study Fyodor Dostoevsky's The Idiot. To see plays at Stratford on Avon such as Henry V, The Pirates of Penzance, and Hirsch. So excited for this adventure with my adventurous mother. I'll be back to tell you about it on July 21st, eager to hear what you have done, what wonders you have read, during the next ten days.

I love the Shakespeare Festival in Stratford. I go nearly every year :) You should have a wonderful time!
ReplyDeletePooe wandering one! (Well, not poor at all, but that's my favorite song in The P of P.) How lovely to be doing these wonderful brainy things, and with your mother! Have a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteWell, you are in for a treat. How nice. (I'm an hour from Toronto) I look forward to hearing all about it. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteHowdy Bellezza! And welcome to Canada! Even though you won't be in Calgary for the Stampede, you're a guest here. Enjoy yourself in the big TO, at the U of T, for this amazing course with your mother. How I envy you. I might be going to TO in Sept. but not in the summer. BTW, you should check out the new bank notes. They're polymer, won't tear like paper, won't hurt a bit even if they've gone thru the washer. Anyway, good for souvenir.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your vacation. How absolutely lovely to be in the company of tor mother.
ReplyDeleteOh have an amazing time!! I lived in Toronto when I was little and always cherish the visits that we have every few years (my dad's family lives there). It is simply breathtakingly gorgeous. Enjoy. :)
