1. Sending Sara a great book I'd just finished was my last random act of kindness.
2. Another place, another time, and I could have had you for my own.
3. I try to be wise in matters of the heart "because the heart is deceitful above all things, and who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17: 9)
4. Coffee, tea or Dolce cinnamon latte?
5. The road of good intentions is paved with separate paths.
6. Our stocks remind me that there is no reason to trust in money.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to packing, tomorrow my plans include flying to Naples, again, and Sunday, I want to walk on the beach with my mother!

ReplyDeleteI feel the same way as you about #6 but I keep trying to remain positive that I'm investing at a cheap price now. It's hard to remain optimistic when the Dow keeps dropping lower and lower. Where is the bottom????
Well, there's no trip to Florida afterall. My son didn't come home at all last night, so we missed the flight waiting for him. Things are not good at Bellezza's house right now. Even worse than the stock market.

ReplyDeleteI just finished a book that I think you would like. It is by the Japanese author Yoko Ogawa and it is called The Housekeeper and the Professor. I am not sure if you have read it already. It is a story of realtionships and math. :)
